Ich's Room...

"Really?" She whimpered. "That's terrible. The poor man must've had a really hard life! I wish I had been in that village, maybe I could've stopped him..."

"He was a wanted criminal... wanted in every area of the world" Ich adds so Neko doesn't feel bad

Kani almost cringed.

She's gonna ask who he is...

"I forgot what his name was, but even though I'm trying to remember, nothing even gives me a hint on what his name is" Ich adds on hearing what Kani thought with a second of mind reader jutsu but he couldn't hold it so he turned it off after hearing what Kani thought

Kani almost smiled.

Two words: nice save.

Neko nodded. "I'll still pray for him, ok? It's a long trip to where ever you go once you die. He might need a little boost." She turned sideways, facing the wall and clasping her hands together, closing her eyes.

"Kami.. I shall call you that through this prayer but I don't know if that's what you'd like to be called. I'm not even sure if you exist, but Kami.. Could you do something for me? There's a man trying to get to the afterlife and I'm scared he might get lost so could you turn on your lights and lower a rope to him so he can get up easier? I don't want him to accidentally fall.."

Ich used his mind reader jutsu again, nearly laughing when he heard Neko say that and he shut it off again

She opened her eyes and spun to him, flashing the thunbs-up. "Ok! Now he'll be fine! But.." She lowered her hand and leaned forward. "When will you be fine?"

ooc: woah! Ichi, waz up with your name?! Are you da shinikage noooooowww???

Ich guesses, "2 days, 3 days tops"

Suddenly, a guy came in and asked, "Who is the one in here named, Ichiyashago"

ooc: oh, congrats then! Be a goodly shinikage.

Neko turned her head to the man, pointed at Ichi. "Ichichi-kun is here, meow. May I ask who are you?"

"Who I am, is none of your concern" The guy says to Neko coldly but then says to Ich, "Ichiyashago... are you part of the Shadow Village?"

"Yes, Why?" Ich asks

"I am here to tell you that you are now the new Shinikage of the Shadow Village" The guy says as he pulls out the Kage hat and puts it by Ichi's bed

Ich was startled by the suprising news, and was speechless

Kani looked from the guy to Ich and back again.

"He-"

She pointed at Ich while staring at the guy.

"-is the new Shinikage?"

The guy nodded.

Kani smiled slightly and nodded. The guy left. Kani placed her hands on her lap and pinched the palm of her right hand.

"Well, I have a question for you Kani..." Ich began, "Are you shy?"

Kani looked over at Ich and laughed.

"I once was. But no longer."

She shook her head.

"Why do you ask?"

"Because... I noticed that you're pinching yourself..." Ich says truthfully

Kani bit her lip and nodded, looking away.

"Uh huh..."

She let go of her palm and flexed her fingers before putting them in her pockets.

"Old habits die hard," she whispered.

Neko was too busy looking at the Shinikage hat placed beside Ichi's bed. "Wow.. The Shinikage.. The full Shinikage, meow! You're the full Shinikage! You're strong enough to be the one and only!"

She jumped up, tightening her hands into fists and raising them. "That's it! I know what I'm gonna do! I'm gonna get really strong and a lot better at the healing arts! I'm gonna get so strong that I'll be able to protect everyone and no one will get hurt again!" She smiled cheekily. "Ichichi-kun, you better do a good job as leader, meow!"

Ich chuckled and says, "I will Nekoko-san, and Kani, may I ask you something, alone?"

Kani looked up at Neko, smiling, trying to think about what Ich would want to ask her.

"That'll be easy for you Neko, you're so good as making people happy...and isn't that a type of healing? You're going to be fantastic."

Out of the corner of her eye she looked at Ich and nodded slightly.

"Neko, can you please exit for a second" Ich asks, being a bit uncertain

She nodded to Kani, smiling brightly and then glanced at Ichi. "Sure, Ichichi-kun." Then she skipped over to the door. Before closing it, she said, "I'll be waiting out here, meow." Then she closed the door, sat in the hall, and plugged her ears with her fingers.

Ich kind of seemed a bit more uncertain

Kani looked over at Ich.

"What did you want to ask me?"

"Well..." Ich starts, "We've known eachother only a short while, but I've grown to like you alot... so would you..." Ich tries to finish the sentence, but flusters
