Sad Songs and Tears

She sat down in one of the seats with a depressed face.
"I can't believe.. he's gone.."
She felt tears come to her eyes, listening as a sad song was being played and looking down at her hands.
"H-he's not coming back.."
Her hands shot to her face as she started to sob uncontrolably.

He walked into the theater, seeing Temari and quickly going over to her, sitting down next to her and wrapping his arm around her shoulders in a comforting way. "I'm sorry.. it's a terrible loss.. I can't imagine how your feeling right now.."

She lifted her head from her hands and looked at him, then put her face in her hands again and leaned on him, still sobbing.
"I-I-I'm s-sorry.. I-I c-can't s-stop.."

"It's alright," He gave a sadened exspression. "Just let it all out, it will make you feel better."

She smiled sadly.
"T-thank y-y-you.."
She took her face from her hands and turned it, hiding it in his chest and wrapping her arm around him.
"I-I m-m-miss him.."

"I know.." He used his other hand to rub her back, closing his eyes and leaning his head on hers. "It's hard to lose the ones you love, but try to think about the good things. Gaara is probably in heaven right now, happy as can be. He is at peace now.." He didn't mention how Gaara was most likely a wandering soul. 'Since he sort of killed himself he will probably wander until one of his late family members comes to bring him to the afterlife..'

She calmed down, regaining the ability to talk properly.
"Your right.. he's probably talking with Y-Yashamaru, mother and father... "
She smiled at the thought of Gaara being happy.
"Thank you, you've helped me a lot lazy man."
She wiped the tears on his shirt, giving a low sigh.

"No problem." He smiled at the 'lazy man' comment. "If you ever need any help, I'm always here, okay?"

"Alright, I'll remember that when I need to talk to somebody."
She snuggled into his chest keeping her eyes closed.

He let out a small sigh, still rubbing her back. 'Why does this feel romantic when were talking about someone who just died..? Huh..' He started to feel tired, slightly opening his eyes to look at the top of Temari's head. "Temari..?"

She didn't answer because she fell asleep, her breathing steady.

'We can't stay here, I'm sure she doesn't want to sleep in public..' He used his hand that had been rubbing her back and put it under her knees, keeping the other hand around her shoulders. He stood, carrying he out of the theater as if they had just got married and he was carrying her to their door for a night to remember. 'Uhg, this is a bit of a drag.. but..' He looked at her sleeping face, giving a small smile. 'She's so beautiful...' He blushed, lookng up as he continued to walk, the word 'beautiful' and Temari's face coming to mind again. 'Wow, this is strange..'

He gave off a low growl, following Shikamaru. "Nobody touches my sister... and get's away with it.."

He looked around, feeling a shiver go up his spine. "Huh.. freaky.." He shrugged and continued to walk, carrying the new Kazekage of Suna. 'I could have sworn I heard a growl, and I can't help but feel I've been warned..'

ooc: O.O omfg Shikamaru is dead xD or going to be O.o

*is sitting in the far back corner of the theater*
*see's a random guy pick up Temari after she started crying and walk away*

Hmm...

*looks at her feet*

*jerks her head up*

*looks over*

But how could I hear Shikamaru from here...and Temari's asleep...what....

(I forgot, she know's who Shikamaru is here...)

*just sits there listening to the sad music*

I wonder if...if he'd ever come with me here...

He decided he wouldn't worry about what she meant by that, staying beside her with a calm and peaceful look on his face. He enjoyed listening to sad music. "It's nice.."
