He leaned back a bit, moving his eyes to the floor, looking like a sad puppy. "You shouldn't be sad.." He closed his eyes. "It's for your safety.. just think of it as a form of protection.."

I CAN PROTECT MYSELF THANK YOU VERY MUCH! If you're going to die, then I'd rather have you go spaztic every once in a while and have to bring you to the hospital. I'd rather have anything else happen then have you die!

He put a hand to his chest. "This isn't your decision.. once I'm gone, I'm going to protect all of you like my mother is doing for me.."

*is still crying but not as much*

*crosses her arms and sits in her bed*

*starts to cry again*

He stood with his back leaning against the outside wall from Kani's room. He put a hand to his face and slid down the wall, sitting on the ground now with his knees to his chest. 'Why..' He clenched his teeth, hitting the floor. "Damn it!"

*thinks she hears someone outside*

Whatever...I don't really care anymore...

His breathing got heavier and he shook his head. "Damn it..." He tilted his head, hiding his face. "God damn it!!" He sqweezed his eyes shut, trying to hold the tears in but they came out anyways. He started to sob uncontrolably, still hiding his face. "W-what... t-t-the h-h-hell.."

*gets up and kicks the door* (it's closed*

This is just great...I come here to have fun participating in the Chunin Exams and I get told that Gaara's gonna die...

*kicks the wall again*
*her foot is starting to hurt*

*goes over and lies down on her bed and stares at the ceiling*

He wiped his eyes and tried to calm himself down. "I-I-I can't... l-leave K-K-Kani.. she s-sounds upset.."

*takes off her shoes*

*walks over and picks her shoes up and puts them back on*

What am I going to do about the Chunin exams...I still have to train some more...but I guess I'll worry about that later...

He slowly stood, wiping his face the best he could and sniffling. "I c-can't let h-her see m-me l-l-like this... b-b-but I need t-to g-go in there.." He turned and stood at her door, continuing to wipe his face as he knocked on it, then waited.

*stops pacing*

He opened the door, looking down as he walked in. he looked up at her, his eyes blood shot and tears rolling down his face. He took one hand and pulled her to him, embracing her in a hug, hiding his face in her shoulder. "I-I-I'm s-sorry..."

(lets just say that when he left she changed into what he pic is now)

*hugs him back*

Gaara...I...why are you crying? I mean...I know you're going to...die...but why are you crying now?

"I-I-I... d-don't know.." He started to sob more. "I t-think... m-maybe I-I w-wan't to.. s-stay alive.. w-with y-you.. and t-the other's.. b-b-but I-I c-can't.."

*is still hugging him*

But you don't have to do the ritual, you can tell Temari and Kankuro...I'm sure that they'd understand!

"N-n-no.." He shook his head. "T-they already.. d-don't want me t-too.. b-b-but I-I have t-to.. i-it would give b-back t-to people f-for m-my selfish b-behaviour.."

*starts to cry a little too*

"I-I-I've k-killed so many people.. f-for nothing..." He shook his head again. "I-if I let t-the Akatsuki g-get S-Shukaku.. t-they would g-get what they w-want.. and h-have the p-power t-to destroy e-everything.."
