Searching for Remembrance

Gaara stood in front of the large Suna gates, turning his head to look at Akuma, waiting.

Akuma jumped up on the gate.
"This place is massive."

He joined him, looking around as well. "Yes, it is. Do you see anything familiar to you?"

"Nothing...Yet."
Akuma frowned.
"I think this may take a while..."

"Most likely.." He looked at Akuma. "Is there any place you think you would like to start looking at?"

"I feel that it's close, but something that big should be easily found..."
Akuma grimaced.
"I know it's close, we should check the general area."

He stared for a second, then looked back to Suna. "Hmm.. than, around the Kazekage mansion might be the first step.."

'Gaara, I know what your thinking, and I'd like to answer your thought. Why did you even ell me, you could have just answered. So, is it true? Yes, it's true. A few years ago, when I took over, I came upon an incredibly strong ninja. This is that ninja, and he's looking for me, it seems. So he doesn't know that you've got a host? Nope, he doesn't know anything about you being what you are. That's great..'

Gaara looked to Akuma again. "Do you remember what it looks like?"

"It's still close...It's...hard to describe. Like a giant....Sand...Racoon...Thing....Blob."
Akuma grimaced.

"Hm.." He looked away. 'Should.. I tell him your with me? Or should I lie incase he'll want to kill me? I don't know, why don't you make things interesting? Why not..'

"Well, this giant sand raccoon thing blob your're talking about may just be the one that is sealed inside of me."

"O rly?"
Akuma stood with his arms crossed, sneering. His eyes flashed red.
"So, you've got one of the tailed beasts still?"

"If I understand clearly what you mean by that, then, yes." He looked at Akuma. "So, what you have been looking for is standing right beside you. What is it that you must do?"

"For now...
((Epic pause.))
Nothing."
Akuma sat in the same pose.

"Then.. you were searching for Shukaku.. to do nothing..?" He stared at him, wondering what he was up to.

((Play theme song))
"I can't do anything for now. I have other matters to attend to before I come back for you. I guarantee a relatively painless death if you don't struggle. After all, the more you struggle, the deeper they'll cut. If you survive it, I'd recommend immediate medical attention."
Akuma laughed, his eyes glowing red.
"I'll see you in hell, Gaara."
Akuma jumped off the great gates and vanished, the echoes of his laughter resonating accross the desert.

"Alright." He watched him jump off the gates, listening to the echo of his laughter. "What a strange fellow.."

'Look who's talking. True. So, you're just going to let him kill you? Why not, I have not much to live for anymore, besides this village. And even they still fear me, so there is no point. So you're going to let yourself die? Just like that? There's no point in fighting back. I will meet him in hell, like he says.'

With that, he jumped off the gate, Shukaku suddenly very quiet.
