Gaara sat at his desk, attempting to keep his breathing even and his heart beats at an average pace so that he didn't need to have a blood coughing fit. He finished all of his paper work, then stared at the desk, having nothing else to do.

Kisame walked through the Kazekage mansion, trying his best to ignore conflict. He finally found the Kazakage room and decided to enter it. He slowly opened the door and looked inside.

Gaara looked up, seeing a blue face peeking in at his door. It confused him for a moment, also changing the pattern of his heart beat, which made him clutch his chest in pain. He winced slightly, trying to ignore it. "Yes..?"

Kisame walked in slowly. "So your the Kazekage eh?"

He stared at Kisame, noticing the Akatsuki robe and believing that they had finally come for him. "Hn.. yes, that is correct. I suppose that's not the reason you're here."

"Not really, just passing through really..." Kisame said pacing while keeping a steady eye on Gaara. 'His hair is red... The exact opposite of mine'

He watched Kisame pace, wondering why he was really there. Was he trying to surprise him? What do surprises matter when Gaara already knew about the organization, and also that he would die from it anyway? Gaara didn't really care, either way. He deserved to die.

"Why would an Akatsuki member just be merely passing through?"

"Because we're looking for someone important..." Kisame stoped pacing and looked at Gaara. "A Jinchuuriki to be exact..."

'Of course he didn't come by here just to chit chat.. stop being such a wimp, Shukaku. What?! I never said anything!' Gaara smirked, slowly standing from his seat. "Important? And how so would Jinchuuriki themselves be important, when you merely throw away their dead carcass afterwords?"

"Kehehehe it's not their carcasses that are important, it's what the carcass harvest that matter..."

"All you care about is what they host." He looked to the window, staring at the night sky though it(yes, it is night because I say so). "So, it wouldn't be an important person, it would be a useless person holding something that is important to you."

"Yes, and you being the Kazekage would know who the Jinchuuriki in the village is, and you know that for a fact..."

"Of course I would know who the Jinchuuriki is." He looked back to Kisame. "I still curse the last Kazekage, my father, for blessing me with such a horrid life."

"SO you're the Jinchuuriki..." Kisame walked slowly over to Gaara's desk, towering over Gaara. "So does that mean I should kill you to get the demon out of you?"

He looked up at Kisame, about a foot shorter than him. "Whatever you must do, it does not bother me. It would be kind of you to make it quick, if you can."

'You're just going to let this happen? Why not.' Gaara smirked slightly, crossing his arms and waiting for Kisame's reply.
