He looked back to Akuma. "When do you plan for it to be?"

Akuma grinned.
"I said we can do it when ever, where ever. If I didn't then I'm saying it now."

"Hm.." He put his hand back to his chest, looking at it. "Well.. I'm not to sure about right now.. you see, one of your 'friends' healed this wound, but a sudden stubborness came to me and I decided to remake the wound once he left.."

"Kovu could fix it, but if I called him he'd come in here in my 'friends' cloak and it would blow everything."
Akuma frowned.
"Why did you rip yourself open?"

"The first time I had been stabbed.." He held his chest again, looking at his hand. "But I didn't want to accept the gift of graditude from the one who healed me, so I called up the medics and restabbed myself before they got to my room.."

He frowned, looking at Love. "Sorry.."

"Wow."
Akuma grimaced.
"But you'd accept a gift from me? I don't get it."

"I hadn't appreciated the things he had said to me.." He shook his head slightly. "You haven't said anything like that to me. Actually, to be honest, I respect you. You've been nothing but kind to me, in my perspective."

"I try. I think I've only said one mean thing to you, but my veiw on things has shifted slightly."
Akuma smiled.
"If I do good things, maybe others will repect me too."

Love avoided commentary feeling the pressure of being his body guard sink in again but tried shaking it off as best she could. When she heard all this talk about stabbing and decision making she felt as if her heart sunk.

"What is Gaara-kun doing?" she had sat down like Akuma asked but clung to one of Gaara's hands as if he would disappear if he stepped too far away from her. "Will Gaara-kun be alright?"

"Psh, he'll be fine. I think. Perhaps he should answer for himself."
Akuma grabbed another chair and sat down.

Hitori walked into her office which was now full of people, or what she considered full of people. She looked at Gaara, then at Love and last at Akuma. She walked over to be standing by Akuma and smiled.
"What a surprise, what are all of you doing here?"

He looked at Love before turning his gaze towards Hitori. "My apologies, Lady Hokage. I did not mean to.. run through your hallways, disrupt your people, barge through your door, climb on your desk, and sit in your chair.. I'm not quite sure why any one of those acts were necessary, but I managed to do all of them before you got here.."

He glanced back to Love. "And don't worry about me, I'll.. be fine."

Love waved at Hitori remembering her from a while ago and tugged on Gaara's sleeve.

"What is it you are doing that is so risky? I cannot simply believe everything is okay." she blurted out. It was not like her to disagree with him but she had obviously changed.

He smiled slightly his expression softer than it probably should have been. "It is a simple procedure that will pull Shukaku's spirit from my body. Please, don't worry.."

"But then-" she stammered, "You are no longer safe alone-wha-what if someone tries to hurt Gaara kun? Wh-what is to stop them? I-I thought demon extraction kills the vessel. Will that not happen?"
